What we care about
There are no shortcuts behind our counter. Just good ingredients, patient hands and the kind of care you can taste in the first sip.
We roast in small batches every week, so every cup you drink is days, not months, from the roaster.
Our bakers start at 5 am. Croissants, buns and loaves come out of the oven while the neighborhood is still asleep.
Produce from farms within a hundred miles, free-range eggs and dairy from a family creamery. The menu changes when the harvest does.
House favorites

Our story
Emberwood opened in 2016 in a converted bike shop, with one secondhand espresso machine, a tiny oven and a lot of early alarms.
Today we roast our own beans, laminate our own croissants and still know most of our regulars by name. Their dogs, too.
A peek inside

Kind words
The almond croissant is worth crossing town for, and the Emberwood Latte is the best five minutes of my morning.
Warm, unhurried and genuinely excellent coffee. It's where I take every friend who comes to visit.
They know my order, my dog's name and exactly when I need a refill. It feels like the neighborhood's living room.
